Masterpiece Yixing Teapot by Zhang Juxian: Symbol of Ambition & Classic Craftsmanship
$300.00National artist Zhang Juxian's handmade Yixing teapot, using premium Di Cao Qing clay. Wave-inspired design embodies relentless progress. 400cc capacity, quick-seasoning texture.
Today we introduce a new handmade Yixing purple clay teapot - [Riding the Waves]. Crafted from premium Di Cao Qing clay from original ore, this 400ml teapot is ideal for daily tea brewing. Its creator Master Zhang Juxian, a national-level craft artist with over thirty years of experience, studied under Zhang Zhiqiang who was apprenticed to Chinese craft master He Daohong.
The most captivating feature lies in its sculptural design. The rounded body combines stability with vitality, adorned with three-dimensional wave patterns hand-carved by artisans. These tactile ridges not only enhance aesthetics but improve grip security. The name "Riding the Waves" draws from ancient Chinese nautical spirit, symbolizing fearless progress through adversity - making it meaningful spiritual props for determined individuals.
The clay deserves special mention. Sourced from Huanglong Mountain in Yixing, this mineral-rich material develops golden speckles during high-temperature firing while maintaining excellent breathability. Users report noticeable surface luster after initial use, with enhanced tea aroma preservation.
As fully handmade creation, every detail reflects meticulous craftsmanship. From clay slab preparation to spout attachment, Master Zhang personally completes each 15-day process involving multiple adjustments and natural drying. The precision-fit lid ensures drip-free pouring even when full.
Practicality shines through thoughtful design. The 400ml capacity serves 3-4 people, while the ergonomic handle and classic "three-point alignment" spout ensure comfortable grip and clean pouring. It performs exceptionally with pu-erh, black tea, or oolong.
For collectors, this teapot offers rewarding maintenance potential. Regular use gradually develops a warm patina, transforming its color from purplish-brown to antique bronze. Simple care - timely cleaning and avoiding grease - maintains its beauty.
Currently sought by collectors, this [Riding the Waves] teapot serves both as functional tool and art investment. Each piece includes Master Zhang's authenticity certificate. Novices appreciate its affordability, while connoisseurs value its enduring craftsmanship.
Note: New teapots may initially carry earthy scent from natural minerals. Boiling water rinses followed by green tea soaking eliminate this. With daily use, it becomes your tea ceremony's most distinctive companion.
