Exquisite 16-Petal Yixing Clay Teapot: Master Fan's Latest Artisan Creation
$385.71Handcrafted 210cc Yixing teapot with 16-petal ribbed structure, crafted from rare Jiangpo clay by Master Fan. A fusion of complex artistry and tea-brewing precision.
Today we introduce an extraordinary purple clay teapot - the Jinwen Hehuan Teapot. Handcrafted by experienced Master Fan using rare Yuan Kuangjiangpo clay, this 210cc Yixing teapot represents newly released craftsmanship that merits appreciation both technically and artistically.
Belonging to the ribbed texture category, this Chinese zisha teapot features sixteen perfectly segmented petal-shaped arcs. From lid to body, each section displays exquisite flowing ridges requiring supreme skill - any miscalculation in a single petal's curvature would disrupt overall proportions. Master Fan achieved flawless alignment through meticulous adjustments, showcasing harmonious beauty.
The greatest challenge lies in forming angular ridges entirely by hand, unlike round-bodied teapots shaped on wheels. Each petal requires individual sculpting and precise assembly, with slightest errors causing warping or seam cracks. The lid's ridges must align perfectly with the body's grooves, demanding exceptional spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
Crafted from precious Jiangpo clay, this handmade Yixing zisha teapot develops intertwined orange-red patterns resembling sunset clouds after high-temperature firing. Its sandy granular texture provides heat retention without scalding. When brewing tea, mineral interactions enhance aroma and aftertaste.
The teapot's crabapple blossom-shaped knob features five upward-curving petals combining functionality with natural charm. The calculated spout arc ensures drip-free pouring, while ergonomic handle grooves offer secure grip.
Master Fan devoted immense effort to this creation. The decades-experienced artisan personally oversees all 20+ steps from clay selection to final firing. Special ribbed designs increase risks of deformation or cracking during kiln processes, resulting in significantly lower success rates than conventional teapots. This flawless specimen truly represents one in a hundred masterpieces.
This 210cc Yixing purple clay teapot serves both practical use and collection purposes. Ideal for 2-3 tea drinkers, its palm-sized body allows optimal heat retention. When brewing oolong or pu'erh, the porous clay enhances tea expansion and aroma release. Regular use gradually develops a warm patina, recording shared moments between owner and tea.
For tea enthusiasts, this China purple clay teapot perfectly balances tradition and innovation. It preserves ancient craftsmanship while offering modern aesthetic through innovative ribbed design. Whether displayed on tea trays or held in hands, it radiates the warmth of spiritual props and human ingenuity through every handmade detail.
