Masterpiece Han Tang Shi Piao Teapot: Artisan Craftsmanship by Bao Yuhua & Li Wei
$235.71Artisan-crafted Yixing Zisha teapot with engraved landscapes, 320cc capacity, 9-hole filtration, and timeless Han Tang design. A functional art piece for tea enthusiasts.
This Yixing zisha teapot, named "Hantang Stone Dipper," represents a classic style in Chinese traditional handicrafts. Crafted by national-level craft artist Bao Yuhua, it embodies the essence of zisha teapot craftsmanship. The decorative elements were completed by Professor Li Wei, a Jiangsu Provincial Ceramic Art Master holding senior professional titles, including full professor at Wuxi Institute of Arts & Technology and Dean of its Art Design School. He also serves as Vice President of Yixing Landscape Painting Association and researcher at Xu Beihong-Wu Guanzhong Art Academy.
The teapot uses rare Cultural Revolution-era aged purple clay from Yixing, naturally weathered for decades to achieve refined texture. This material develops natural luster and enhances tea aroma absorption over time. With 320ml capacity ideal for group tea sessions, it features nine diamond-shaped water outlets ensuring smooth pouring and effective tea filtration.
The classic stone dipper shape derives stability from tripod-inspired bronze vessel structure. Precise proportions create harmonious angles, while the upward-curved spout complements handle contours. The tightly fitting lid prevents leakage, demonstrating deep understanding of traditional craftsmanship.
Most striking is the landscape engraving depicting layered mountains and flowing rivers through meticulous carving techniques. Realistic rock textures transition to misty peaks with resilient pine trees, achieving three-dimensional effects through calibrated depth. Tactile ridges echo traditional Chinese ink painting aesthetics.
Beyond functionality, this handmade purple clay teapot follows 128 ancient procedures, evidenced by unique interior textures from manual shaping. The seamless spout-body connection creates elegant water arcs, while ergonomic handle ensures secure grip. Its moderate wall thickness maintains heat without scalding.
The Yixing zisha teapot's dual porous structure naturally absorbs tea essence, developing tea patina over time. Cleaning requires only water, with surface patina deepening through use. Collectors value its certified authenticity, scarce Cultural Revolution-era clay, and fusion of ceramic art with landscape painting.
Whether for daily use or heirloom preservation, this teapot offers unparalleled experience through its smooth water flow, crystalline pouring sounds, and evolving aroma. As a spiritual prop connecting tradition and modernity, it appreciates in value while reflecting cultural sophistication through every crafted detail.
