Masterpiece Yixing Zisha Teapot: Collaborative Artistry by Wang Zhenghong & He Renqun
$1157.14Handmade Yixing purple clay teapot by master artists Wang Zhenghong and He Renqun. Unique crescent design with intricate carvings, 250cc capacity. Priced at ¥8,100.
This is a highly recommended collaborative masterpiece by two zisha teapot masters. Named "Jade Milk Pot", it combines two traditional craftsmanship techniques. The clay material selected for this purple clay teapot is premium Di Cao Qing from Huanglong Mountain mining area in Yixing, Jiangsu province, recognized as superior raw material for teapot making. This carefully sorted and aged clay develops a warm purplish-red hue after firing, with visible golden sand particles on the surface.
With 250cc capacity, this Chinese yixing teapot is ideal for 2-3 tea drinkers. Its innovative crescent-shaped body blends modern aesthetics with traditional charm. The zisha teapot features smooth curves, an upward-curving spout, and an ergonomic handle that naturally fits fingers. The tightly fitting lid prevents leakage during pouring, maintaining dignified elegance while appearing delicate.
Crafted by Wang Zhenghong, a national-level craft artist with over 30 years' experience specializing in traditional forms. The handmade yixing zisha teapot demonstrates his signature clay-beating technique ensuring uniform wall thickness. The spout and handle employ seamless jointing technology without visible connections.
Decoration by He Renqun, national research-grade senior craft artist. The front displays powerful engraved characters "Harmonious Home" using traditional carving methods, showing natural edge texture. The reverse depicts vivid children playing hide-and-seek - three figures with expressive facial features and detailed clothing, set against bamboo groves with depth through shallow carving.
This yixing purple clay teapot prioritizes functionality: smooth water flow with clean stops, ergonomic grip, and stable 250cc volume. The base is finely polished for perfect balance. Fired at 1180°C, the Di Cao Qing clay achieves complete vitrification, developing natural matte surface that gains luster through tea seasoning. Scientific vent hole design ensures quiet pouring.
The purple clay teapot's dual-pore structure enhances tea aroma by regulating water temperature, ideally suited for pu'er or dark teas. Regular maintenance involves water rinsing and tea-cloth polishing. As a dual-master collaboration, this chinese zisha teapot combines Wang's technical excellence with He's artistic engravings. The auspicious inscriptions and playful patterns make it both practical daily utensil and collectible art piece, representing refined taste for personal use or gifting.
