Master Yang's Fú Yuán Zisha Teapot: Rare Mung Bean Sand Clay & Artisan Craftsmanship
$214.29Handmade 280cc Yixing teapot using rare Mung Bean Sand Clay, featuring precision-crafted diamond vents and flawless lid alignment by Master Yang.
The new Yixing purple clay teapot "Fu Yuan" is now officially available! Handcrafted by national-level craft artist Master Yang using precious raw ore mung bean sand clay, this 280ml capacity zisha teapot has immediately captured the attention of tea utensil collectors.
The most distinctive feature of this Chinese Yixing teapot lies in its material. Mung bean sand clay, belonging to the green clay family with the highest shrinkage rate, easily warps and cracks during production. This material demands extreme precision from artisans, with only 2-3 out of 10 teapots surviving the firing process. Consequently, zisha teapots made from this clay naturally exhibit unique celadon-green luster, resembling rain-polished jade.
Observing this handmade Yixing zisha teapot reveals fluid lines that create visual harmony. Its body combines multiple three-dimensional prismatic surfaces, each edge width and curvature meticulously calculated. These ridges extend continuously from spout to handle, generating dynamic light-shadow interplay. The precision-fitted lid remains securely locked even when inverted.
This purple clay teapot excels functionally. Nine rhombic water outlets inside effectively filter tea leaves while maintaining smooth pouring. The 280ml capacity perfectly serves 3-5 tea drinkers, balancing tea concentration and brewing convenience.
Master Yang, with over three decades of experience, employs traditional slab-forming techniques requiring 20+ days continuous work per teapot. During firing, he personally regulates kiln temperatures by observing flame colors - a skill machines cannot replicate.
More than brewing tool, this China purple clay teapot represents collectible art. The mung bean clay gradually changes color through use, while tea absorption enhances its luster. Ongoing tea aroma infusion creates unique "pot nurturing" effects, likened to cultivating living artifacts for tea culture enthusiasts.
The Yixing teapot's ergonomic handle features triple-finger curvature developed through repeated adjustments, ensuring comfortable grip. Its angled spout creates elegant pouring arcs while preventing drips.
Authentic raw ore zisha teapots become increasingly rare. This "Fu Yuan" Yixing purple clay teapot, crafted with rare clay and certified by authoritative masters, offers foreign enthusiasts perfect entry into Chinese tea culture. Whether for daily use or collection, it delivers unique cultural experiences.
