This Yixing teapot set includes four matching cups named "Triple Support". The clay material used for this teapot is exceptionally special - rare aged 'Feicui Longbei Qing' clay from the artist's private collection. This clay originates from the original mineral veins of Huanglong Mountain in China's ceramic capital, belonging to the surface rock layer of the dragon vein. The Longbei Qing clay stratum is particularly thin with extremely limited yield. Local artisans compare this clay to dragon skin, believing it concentrates the essence of mineral veins and absorbs natural energy, resulting in unique color transformations after firing. This material represents the pinnacle of zisha clays, acclaimed as the king among clay types.

The teapot's creator Wang Qiming is a national-level craft artist. Creating such teapots demands exceptional skill and complete manual execution throughout the process. Artisans require years of training to master traditional Yixing teapot-making techniques. Each production stage requires meticulous handling, from shaping the body and carving patterns to adjusting the spout-handle proportions. Handcrafting ensures every purple clay teapot becomes a unique artwork.

The clay material used has undergone over thirty years of aging process. This traditional method involves storing excavated clay in cool, humid environments for natural maturation. This process refines the clay's texture and develops distinctive aromas. When using aged clay, small black spots occasionally appear during high-temperature firing - natural iron residue marks from the material. These spots don't affect functionality but serve as authentic identifiers of aged clay.

The Yixing teapot's design demonstrates thoughtful craftsmanship. Its body features smooth contours with comfortable weight distribution. The tightly fitted lid prevents leakage during pouring. The ergonomic handle ensures secure grip. The four matching cups employ tripod design with three tiny foot supports, combining stability with playful aesthetics. Uniform wall thickness provides gentle lip contact during tea drinking.

Long-term use of this purple clay teapot yields unique benefits. The body gradually absorbs tea aromas and develops a warm patina. Ideal for brewing fermented teas like Pu'er or black tea, it enhances full-bodied flavors. Users should avoid chemical detergents - simply rinse with water and air dry after use.

Beyond functionality, this handmade Yixing teapot carries cultural significance, blending painting, carving, and calligraphy arts. Its rare material, complex craftsmanship, and artist credentials make it collectible. With proper care, it develops increasing character over time, becoming an inheritable living artwork.

For initial use, perform pot-opening ritual: boil purified water and let cool repeatedly to remove impurities. Early brews can be poured over the teapot surface to enhance tea absorption. Through patient nurturing, this zisha teapot develops unique synergy with its user, transforming into a cherished companion for daily tea rituals.
